She Shouldn't Have Camera Access

She Shouldn't Have Camera Access

Oh, it feels good to sit down.

Feels like, I think this is the
first time I've sat down today.

Yeah, same.

Except for when I was in the car
driving around doing errands.

But I don't think driving in
a car feels very relaxing.

That's not restful.

No, not really restful at all.

How about you?

Um, been busy today.

It's a busy day.

It's one of those days where it's like
we were in the house the whole day.

But, but I don't feel like
I saw you that much today.

No.

We were definitely like, oh, over here.

This person over here.

Yeah.

But it was, it was a good day.

Good day.

It was a good day.

It was a great day.

Um, it was Father's Day
for us at the King House.

Yeah.

We celebrated early.

We celebrated early because once
again, will loves to leave on days

that people need to be celebrated.

But I mean, I guess it's
your day, so it's just, yeah.

This one you can't, like the
only one's getting gypped is me.

And the kids, but you know,
well, okay, that's fair.

The kids don't, are not quite
the age where they really get it.

I mean, you could say, or are they
the age where they get it the most?

No, I feel like give Palmer
another year and she'll like

really get in, get into it.

I mean, I think she was
like, oh, it's Father's Day.

Yay.

But like then the rest of today was
just like all about her, you know?

Well wanting to play with you
and be around her fam, but Right.

Any who you're leaving.

I am leaving for like a week.

I gotta drive.

I gotta drive LOL.

Thank goodness I'm not driving.

I know I've got to fly
tomorrow to San Francisco.

Woohoo.

So, um, crunchy got acquired,
as we have mentioned.

Mm-hmm.

And part of the acquisition plan
is figuring out how our product

is going to integrate with what
they want us to do in the future.

And sounds like a good play.

That means we need to meet about that.

Mm-hmm.

And the timeline is
apparently really quick.

Yeah.

Like they're really trying to push forward
on this, which means we had onboarding

this week and next week, uh, everybody
who can fly out to San Francisco's

flying out to San Francisco to meet
and figure out all the architecture,

blah, blah, blah, et cetera, et cetera.

So I'll be in San Francisco.

Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday,
and then I fly out Thursday.

So yeah, I've got like a group, like a,
it's like I've already got all like the

schedule stuff, like we are in meetings.

I feel like you're just
diving all into this.

And you did this last time
too, so I'm gonna stop you.

Can you just go ahead and tell
these people what episode this is?

It is episode 32.

I've made a decision.

We're not restarting the A numbering
because it feels, I just feel

like you just started rambling
and I'm about to go to sleep.

If hearing this, you always go to
sleep whenever it's my work stuff.

So that's not a fair.

The 10 people that are listening,
this is probably what they

fall asleep to at night.

No.

Do you know what you drone it on?

About this?

Do you know what the 10
people who listen to this are?

Developers, designers.

Okay.

People who do the stuff I actually
do, but they're probably like,

oh, for the love Ali, stop him.

He's rambling.

No, they're not.

It's episode 32.

It is episode 32 of No
one Asked us podcast.

My name is Will.

This is my beautiful wife,
Allison, who's, let's do it.

Okay.

Continue your rambling.

Okay.

Anyway, Monday.

Schedule is packed like it is
meeting, are we really about to go

through your day-to-day itinerary?

We are.

We're gonna go through the day-to-day
itinerary, but in like very broad waves.

It is.

It is.

You don't know how to do that nine
until I think like six meetings.

I'm getting a phone call.

You're getting a phone call from who?

My grandmother.

Nana, Nana, lemme tell
you who calls too much.

Nana.

No, Nana doesn't call too much.

You literally ate at a restaurant.

Stop.

Answer the phone.

Okay.

I'm not gonna answer the phone
right now, just, it's okay.

It's okay.

Answer the phone on the pod's.

I hate Nana.

It's 8 47.

Why exactly?

Nana doesn't even know that we do this.

Nana calling at 8 47.

I don't know.

Okay, Nana, who called CAli?

Can we just go back to this Monday?

No, this is an important
story and it's hilarious.

This is not so on.

Tuesday, it doesn't matter.

People listen to this whenever.

We don't have to give them days.

Just a day.

Okay.

One day this week while I had meetings,
Ali took the kids to one of their

favorite restaurants called Pizza Perfect.

It is like old school Pizza Hut
or like Cece's Pizza, where it's

like, but it's like Mom and Pop all.

Yeah, but it's mom and Pop.

It's like some local place
and all you can eat pizza.

The kids love it and.

It's right across the road from the
flea market that Nana owns her grand.

Mm-hmm.

It's Ali's, grandmom, and Nana calls
while I'm like wrangling three children by

myself or tries to call, doesn't answer.

Calls again, doesn't answer because.

Of all that's going on.

Yeah.

Then text, what'd you buy?

What did you buy?

Like assume, what'd you buy at the store?

Assuming she went to the store and she's
like, I didn't even go to the store.

Nana needs to back off.

'cause Nana has her location and like
checks it at probably like everywhere.

Just all the time.

Every 20 minutes.

'cause she, to be honest, she
probably has cameras in her house

and knows that the kids are asleep
and are like, no, that's your mom.

Your mom actually legit has access.

Well for good reason, access to our
wifi cameras and texts you and is like.

Debbie's having a tough time.

No, she doesn't.

She's not like that.

She's always like, oh look,
he's so precious right now.

I promise anyway.

Oh, my mother-in-law has
camera access to our home word.

You're making that.

I feel like that's a bigger deal
than I've ever made a point about.

I've never made a point about
it, but I just want you to know.

It's weird.

It's not weird.

It's weird.

It's not.

Is it weird?

It's not weird because you're not
painting the appropriate picture.

You're right.

You're not what?

What picture am I?

What am I missing outta this picture?

Okay.

The baby monitors that we have
on our children are only accessed

through an app on a phone.

Correct.

Which you want date nights all the time.

And who's there for date nights?

Your mom?

My mom.

So who needs access while she's
in our home watching our children?

Your mom.

Okay, so it's an app on her phone.

It's not on a Saturday morning word.

When we get a text message that says, oh
man, Debbie was up early this morning.

Well, she can check in.

Was she at our house?

No.

No, but she was she responsible
for watching her children?

I feel like, you know, my mom would listen
to this, and you are slowly, slowly,

not even slowly at this point, just
digging a massive grave for yourself.

It's okay.

Karen knows all over.

There is nothing in that whole
conversation you just had.

Look, that me and Karen, we
get along, but even Karen has

to admit, it's a little weird.

It's not weird having camera access.

It's not like it's in like any
other room, but the kids' room

and it's just that she could begin
and see her sweet good children.

Nothing's better.

Nothing better than having if
wherever in there she turns it off.

But she has to wait until she sees us.

Oh, no.

They walked in and guess there.

Or if we're already in there,
they're not wearing clothes other

than boxers in the mornings.

Oh my word of this guy.

I'm not dealing with this right now.

Where was I?

Oh, yes.

See, so back to work.

My word,

this is the most chaotic
episode that it ever was.

There's a, there's like a,
a big dinner Monday night.

Snap, snap, snap, snap, snap.

With like a, it's like
a big company dinner.

Okay.

It's a dinner or whatever for people.

Go to Tuesday.

Now.

Tuesday, same thing, like meeting
all day and then, um, another dinner.

But this one's not like
a big group dinner.

It's like, okay, well here's the deal.

It's like, oh, like find a group
and like y'all figure out like

there's nothing planned or scheduled.

Okay, but we, okay then you
expect, is that what you want?

Expect to like group up with
people and like go eat dinner.

I'm sure Craig will have
opinions on what to do.

That fair or want you to do?

That's fair.

So like that's fair.

Okay.

Anyway, Craig, if you're
listening to this, I wonder

if Craig does listen to this.

I don't know.

I doubt it.

Craig sometimes does.

He probably listens just long enough
to get something to make fun of me for.

So it's like a second now
it's like two seconds.

Yeah.

Okay.

Anyway, and then Wednesday, we don't
have like that long of meetings.

We end it too.

And I'm hoping that on Wednesday.

I, I've got buddies and people who live
in San Francisco and I wanna try to like

meet up with somebody on a Wednesday just
to say, Hey, like I've got industrial

design buddies from college who have lived
in San Francisco since graduating and

done actual awesome industrial design.

And it'd be great to catch up with
them and be like, Hey, what's it like

actually being an industrial designer?

I wouldn't know, unfortunately.

So, okay.

Anyway, are we done here?

That's my week.

That's what's coming up.

Cool.

But.

Let's talk about Father's Day for a
second, because geez, all about you.

You, you, you don't wanna know
about my week coming up, Allison.

It's fine.

It's Will's week if you would like.

It's Will's world.

We're just living in it.

Father's Day.

I don't wanna talk about it anymore.

You go on, you come up with
something else and I'm done.

You're just mad because I called you out.

I'm waiting.

Share with me your engaging content.

Ms. King.

What you got?

Lay it on me.

This is painful.

Can you just move on and
talk to father's sake?

It move me.

Move on.

Oh my word.

Oh, now you want to hear me speak.

That's all you can do.

You not have something to say?

I do have something to say.

It'd be like, goodnight.

Goodnight.

Bye.

That's what you're, so you're
saying if I didn't, we just

didn't, you would just end it.

Exactly.

That's why I have to keep going because.

This is so ridiculous.

Anyway, I, father's Day,
I have to talk about this.

You got me the greatest gift of all time.

Well, that's sweet.

I won Father's Day.

That's sweet.

That's sweet.

And I wrote a tweet that said, suck
it losers, because everyone else,

there's no one who can top this.

Ali worked with Palmer and got her to
write, like, draw this, like really?

Mm-hmm.

Cute little art thing that said,
are you gonna put up a picture here?

I am.

I'm not gonna, I'm, I'm gonna do this.

And this is what he looks
like without a hat on guys.

Okay?

They can't see that.

So I'll bloop it and it says, best dad.

And it's this heart and it's got like
a little rainbow gradient pattern.

She was so excited about
that Rainbow heart.

Incredible.

And now I'm gonna wear this
hat all the freaking time.

I cannot wait.

Well, you are the best dad.

It it, I don't know about that.

You are, but I feel like the best dad
wearing this hat, let me tell you.

And Palmer King is now getting a
larger percentage of the inheritance.

I'm writing that into the will right now.

Well, yeah, because after today,
Wilson lost a portion of his Oh geez.

So I please share with the
audience because he might

get just written right out.

He really might.

Middle child.

Love him to death.

Love him.

Oh my word.

He is just, he's going sunshine.

He's through, he's going
through a rambunctious face.

He is.

He's going through like wild boy.

Yeah.

I mean truly just like
everything is a hammer.

Everything is, yeah.

Blah.

Run, smash.

We've always had the toughest, like
Palmer was harder at three than two.

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.

And Wilson is really
settling into tough three.

It's like terrible Twos.

But they're not that bad.

Twos have not been bad with our kids,
but three terrible, I three, I think I

heard somebody say the freaking fours.

They called it like a, a three
major or something like that.

Oh yeah, yeah.

He's awful.

Anyway, it's just a lot of emotional
leaps and things like that.

But anyhow, he's wild and
we're, we're working on it.

We're working on it.

Um,

uh, today.

Went so smoothly.

I thought it really did.

Three children, two of us, we were home.

The kids did great.

Palmer and Wilson decided to be
each other's very best friend today.

And it was beautiful to watch.

They entertained each other.

They didn't really need us.

They weren't arguing.

Like it was kind of like, it was
one of those days where you're

like, what is this a dream?

Is it your life happening?

And like Davis was content
just kind of hanging around us.

He was fine.

He was, he was.

So Will was outside getting
the, I got a Blackstone.

No.

Oh wait, was this before that?

Oh geez.

No, it was the Blackstone.

No, it was the water slide.

Oh geez.

It was the water slide.

Can you just pause?

Sorry.

So excitable, you just wanna
flaunt that you got a Blackstone.

Anyway, moving on.

Okay.

Will was setting up the water slide
we purchased at Costco, which.

Let me tell you honestly, best money we
spent people, we're gonna bloop this up.

Yeah.

Fantastic.

Wonderful.

Water slide.

I don't even know if I
have a picture of bloop.

Um, I do.

Okay, good.

Um, so he's setting up the water slide
because the kids wanted to do it.

Correct.

And I'm like, great.

They're entertaining each other.

Davis is fine.

Will's outside doing this.

I'm going to do like a toy roundup around
the house, pick things up, laundry in the.

Getting done.

Mm-hmm.

Put dishes in the sink and
put those away and whatever.

And so as I'm like classic summer, all
stuff walking through the house, I see

Davis's snack bowl from the previous day.

The Grinch snack bowl by the way.

Oh.

Just like a small, it's Christmas bowl.

Small little Christmas bowl that when sit
in the chair that you are in currently.

Actually it sure as heck is um.

And so I'm like, oh, there's a dish.

I'm gonna go grab it.

Mm-hmm.

And put it in the sink and
put it in the dishwasher.

And as I am like reaching for the
bowl, I notice that there is Tee Tee.

And

the bowl, I can't believe I'm
saying this for public consumption.

Potty gate 2025, and not only has
somebody used the potty in mm-hmm.

The tiny snack bowl.

The tiny snack.

It is like, let me tell you, it's like
enough to run like a few tests at the

doctor and it's like kind of tilted.

So a little has spilled, it is spilled
onto your chair and onto my chair and

I'm like, this is not what I think it is.

There's no, it's, no, it's 100% is,
there's nothing else it could have been.

And it was that color.

It was not it, it was that color.

Definitely was.

Hmm.

Tt, oh 1000000000%.

And so I'm like, you know, as a
parent you just have those moments

where you're like, just so in shock.

In shock and dumbfounded.

You're just like struggling of like,
right, how am I about to handle this?

Right.

And also it's like will's outside.

He doesn't even know
that this has happened.

And I'm like, what?

Yeah.

There's sometimes where like
something happens that is just so.

Ridiculous.

Shocking.

Where it's like, it's like, there's
no way this is actually happening.

This is my real life.

You just don't handle it
like that sometimes that like

that happened again tonight.

Okay.

Like anyhow, so I'm like, okay, well I go
and I open the back door and I say, well.

I need you.

This is pretty important.

And I'm like currently like
covered in like mud and stuff.

'cause it's soaking wet outside.

So the kids are playing really well
and I'm like, Wilson, I need you.

And he doesn't come.

And Palmer comes running out and
was like, mom, he's not coming.

And I'm like, well can
you please go get him?

I tell him I really
need to speak with him.

Right.

So he comes out and as Wilson is
entering the living room and Will

is emerging from the backyard.

Mm-hmm.

I turned to Will.

And I say he's t-t-ed in a ball.

Well, you first asked me, I said, um, do
you want this to be as much a surprise?

Oh, I was like, do you wanna
be as surprised by this as, as

Wilson's about to be, Wilson is
about to be in Will Says, no.

Please tell me what's happening right now.

I was like, well, he's.

Gone to the bathroom
in a bowl in the chair.

So I'm, I go off and handle the bowl and
handle the cleanup situation and I hear

Ali in the other room and I have him
sitting crisscross applesauce with me on

the floor and I'm like, I need to talk
to you about something really important.

Wilson.

This go two ways.

This could go multi, like this
could go, oh no, I'm in trouble.

And like the kid starts flipping out,
or it could go the way it ended up

going, which is the exact opposite
where Debbie just legit sits there.

And stares you straight in the face and
be like, yeah, yeah, Titi Well, so like he

just owns it, just straight up, owns it.

Did a kid say something?

No.

Are you sure?

I don't know.

I can't check the monitor.

I don't have the phone.

You know who could check it?

You're right.

Your mother could check
it for us right now.

Okay.

No.

So I have Wilson yes.

In the kitchen and we're sitting
down and I'm like, Hey, I need

to talk to you about something.

Mm-hmm.

And he said, in crisscross applesauce.

And I said, Wilson, did you
potty in this little snack bowl?

And he said, yeah, that little.

Little looks, side and side.

That's so him.

And I said, why would
you go to the bathroom?

And I'm like, I am struggling
to parent through this moment.

He knows.

He knows how to take, like he
knows how to find the potty.

He said I had to go.

And I said, well, Wilson,
where do you use the bathroom?

He's said, in the potty.

And I said, well, does this
look like a potty to you?

And he goes, no.

And I said, well, can you tell me why?

What were you thinking when you did this?

I had to go and that was right there.

So.

I just put it in there

was dumbfounded and I was like, well,
I think you just let him walk away.

Like you didn't do anything.

You were just like speechless.

It really was.

I don't know what to say to that.

Uh, well, no, and then we circled back and
I was like, Wilson, you cannot do this.

I was like, it's not clean.

It's not safe.

Yeah.

You need to put your TT in.

The potty.

I've said Titi way too
many times on this podcast.

I'm really sorry, everybody.

Um, and he was like, okay, yes ma'am.

Yep.

And just walked off and then bebop off.

And so I have to bust out the little green
machine and which sponsored at Bissell.

Bissell with the little green machine.

Little green machine.

This thing comes in close, has
saved our lives too many times.

So times, many times.

So.

I sprayed this all down, scrubbed and
scrubbed and vacuumed, and worked great.

Good.

Is new, worked great.

But yeah, I picked up a bowl of our
kids potty gate 2025 bowl of TT tt.

All right.

Enough saying, okay.

That.

I was saying something I don't even
know, but I don't remember anymore.

But I did.

I did.

But that was your Father's Day.

I got a Blackstone.

You did get a Blackstone
Happy Father's Day.

Let it me know that I have avoided
getting a Blackstone for probably

a year and a half at this point.

Oh.

Be, but Ali has reminded me at least
once a month, Hey, will, should.

Don't you want a Blackstone?

I really think you, you should really
get a, Blackstone would like one.

I think you would like a Blackstone.

And I'm like, maybe,
but I got this trigger.

That is also great.

I mean, what's a girl gotta do
for a Smashburger, you know?

Apparently just badger
me for a year and a half.

Yeah.

So tonight I didn't make smash burgers per
se, but I did do burgers, bacon, brats.

Our neighbors were over, by the
way, burgers, bacon, brats, hot

dogs for the kids whole, yeah.

Always gotta make hot dogs
for the kids because mm-hmm.

Kids.

Anyway, so we had bacon burgers
and some cheddar broths.

Mm-hmm.

And they were fantastic.

They were wonderful.

I mean, not to toot my
own horn, but it was good.

It was wonderful.

It was really good.

I got, I have this, um, just for
those of you that I know, Jason

Beggs, I've got this like beef
tallow, um, that IU and I seasoned.

The Blackstone with the beef towel.

And then I used the beef towel
to like cook all this stuff in

and it was, it was delicious.

So good.

And I cooked all the bacon first.

So all like the bacon, fat grease was
just chilling on the, the Blackstone.

Wonderful.

Fantastic.

So good.

So what I'm hearing you
say was Al, you were right.

Uh, yes.

Allison, you were right.

The Blackstone was great.

He, he, uh, heated.

Why does heated always
sound like the wrong word?

It heated up quickly.

I feel like I sound like
a dummy saying that.

It warmed up quick and it
was really easy to use.

Okay, so.

Loved it.

Okay.

I have, wait two new segments.

Okay.

Oh, do you have something?

What I was gonna say, just shout
out to you for Father's Day.

You are an awesome dad.

You really are.

You are.

Well, if I known you were gonna
praise me, I definitely would've.

I would've stopped sooner.

Tell me more.

Now you'll just interrupt
more often, so it's fine.

No, you're a great dad and it's so fun
to celebrate you and all that you, you

do for this family and for our kids
and just Oh, like fly to San Francisco

and then be alone them for a week.

I'm for a week.

No, but which my mom's going down.

Uh, to bring, uh, my brother's
kids to see our kids.

Yeah.

And I will not be here,
so that will be fun.

Well, it'll be fun.

I'm sure.

Great.

The kids are gonna have a blast.

It'll be fun.

Um, but no, for real,
you're the best dad ever.

And the those kids adore you.

And so, oh, you rock.

Thank you.

Appreciate that.

Don't change except for you
could be here a little bit more.

Okay.

I've got two new segments for us to do.

Segment number one, which we've
had on the list of things to do

literally since we started this
podcast called What Are We Watching?

Oh yes.

Love this.

And there are two things that we have.

One we finished mm-hmm.

And one that we are currently watching.

Mm-hmm.

And I wanna talk about both of them.

Okay.

One we finished watching is the
new season of Jenny and Georgia.

Georgia.

And Jenny.

Jenny and Georgia.

Jenny and Georgia.

Jenny and Georgia.

Okay.

Not, did not see this coming as
something that I would enjoy watching.

Yeah, it was definitely
like an alley show.

It was an alley show, and I don't know
if this happens for everybody else.

This happens every summer.

Will gets so fussy if I fussy watch a
show the right term, that is exactly

the right term, he gets fussy.

If like, I can't watch one of our
shows during the day, so this is

specifically during the summer, doesn't
believe me with a lot of choices of

like, well, what am I gonna watch?

Sure.

Well, heaven forbid I find something, a
lot of choices in the world of content.

Okay.

Oh, one word.

I find something that I
enjoy, so I start watching it.

And so inevitably he comes in the
room and starts picking up on some

of it and is like, oh, I like this.

Yeah.

Oh, we should keep watching this.

Yeah.

Well then that pigeonholes me and only
being able to watch it when he's around.

And so I can't enjoy my time watching my
things because I'm having to wait for you.

And so now here's where I'm really mad.

We've started watching a really great show
and you're about to be gone for a week.

Oh yeah.

Okay.

Sorry.

That's a good point.

I didn't think about that.

Yeah.

Okay.

So Jenny and Georgia, it's really good.

Alright, we'll just put that back
in Pandora's box for just a minute.

You regret this segment?

Um,

see, this is where Will opens his
mouth and doesn't think things through.

Yeah.

Yeah.

I didn't think this one through, uh, what
we are watching for not another week.

Got it.

Yes.

Mm-hmm.

Mm-hmm.

So, Jeanine, Georgia.

Great show.

Great.

Like very dramatic.

It's a heavy, very heavy, but can
be lighthearted, very emotional.

I think I only like it 'cause I'm
a parent and so it's like, yeah.

Oh, like this is like, you just kinda
get everybody's story of like mm-hmm.

Oh man.

Like people go through a lot.

Yeah.

And you need to be able to understand,
you need to be able to understand

people's perspective and like all
the drama's just entertaining.

Yeah.

Just that's the gist of it.

But great show the other one
that we're watching, which is.

Which is really good, real good so far,
which we don't watch a ton of these,

but usually like once a year some,
somebody makes one of these type shows.

Mm-hmm.

Where it hits just the right balance
of like you're interested Yep.

Enough in it.

And it's like a murder slash mystery.

Mystery.

Mystery.

But usually it needs to have
like a little bit of like.

Family drama or like some sort
of something to pull t because

if it's too dark, it can't be
just too dark or too thrilling.

I can't do that.

Yeah, like it can't be like jumpy.

It can't be like only like
dark negative kind of thing.

This one's called the
Better Sister, I think.

Or is it just Better Sister?

The Better Sister, I think
it is The better Sister.

Mm-hmm.

And it's on Amazon.

And it is real good.

It is awesome.

I'm not awesome.

Gonna spoil anything on it.

Well, we're only a few episodes in,
but like we're far enough in that.

There's some good bits.

Yeah.

That would be spoiled
if you But check it out.

You actually check it out.

It's really good.

It's like the whole, like you
have a whole week to catch up

up because we can't watch it.

Because I started watching this
show, I started watching it.

Well, no, that's not fair.

You cannot come at me about this one.

'cause we both, you sent
me the trailer I did.

Knowing I would like it and said.

And I said, this is awesome.

I can't wait to watch it together.

And then you forgot about it.

I cannot claim, so I started, it.

Did not forget about it.

You, you, there is a. There.

Okay, so there's an alley.

No Walmart not another one, but it's
just like when you're tired, it's

like you just want something like
Brooklyn nine nine, I want mind.

Or like home renovation.

Show something brainless.

Yeah.

With no stakes, like you'd Correct.

So, which makes sense
when you're exhausted.

I get it.

Yeah.

So the first couple of weeks of summer
coming off of the end of a school year.

That's like all you want, like you're not
ready to like be done with school and then

immediately jump into something heavy.

So I didn't bring it up.

I was trying to be, don't even act
like this was a choice that you

made and we've just been watching
mini renie and barbecue brawl.

Don't come at me about the
barbecue bra right now.

It's really good.

It is really good.

But anyway, I love a Bobby FLA show.

Let me tell you.

I swear, I think we've talked
about this before already.

I swear that if Ali was not
married to me, she would try

to get Bobby Fla to date her.

She's so obsessed with Bobby.

It's embarrassing.

It's not true.

Literally like fell asleep to him
every single night while you were

pregnant with all of our kids.

It's probably 'cause I was hungry.

It's probably, that's good.

Okay.

Anyway, so yeah, that's
what we're watching.

We're watching that.

But we finished up sirens.

We did that.

I forgot about that one.

That one was really good.

That one was really good too.

That one was like weird though.

I enjoyed it.

That was kind of, I really enjoyed it.

I thought it was a little trippy.

It was like a little.

Mm. Weird.

Well, but it was good.

It was good.

We've got other things that we
always watch over the summer that are

coming up too, that I'm stoked about.

Will's, the only one I can
think of is Big Brother.

Oh, and Bachelor in Paradise.

Bachelor in Paradise.

Our classic reality, let me tell you.

Big, big, big, big Brother fan.

We love Huge Love Big Brother.

We love reality tv.

Love.

That's so good.

Big brother's like one of the best.

Yeah, when it comes to reality tv.

Bachelor in Paradise.

It's fun.

I could give her, I like, here's the
thing, don't take us, here's the thing.

I could not watch it and be totally fine.

Well, however, well this is a
cornerstone of our marriage.

I was just about to say that.

It is not a cornerstone of our marriage.

It is a cornerstone of our
entire like relationship.

It is because the very moment when I
realized, I was like, I need to like,

this is the girl for me was in the
middle of a Bachelor in Paradise episode.

That sounds so ridiculous.

It sounds so ridiculous,
but it is so true.

We were watching it with a, we
were watching it with this giant

group of friends in college.

Yeah.

And everybody was like being loud
and like ya like yammering about

whatever was going on in their lives.

And I like, I was trying to watch it
and I'm, and you, I just, that was

like your thing, like you were like,
man, I'm only here to watch this.

Every, this is at your house.

Every house.

And you're like, why are
all these people here?

And you're probably like, why
the heck is Will King here?

Yeah.

Well, I was in, I was in it,
I was like, this is good.

I, I thought that was like ridiculous.

This was crazy drama.

Crazy drama.

And something like on the show happened.

And like I look around being like, did
anybody see like trying to like, and

then nobody was paying attention except
Ali and we both locked eyes and it was

like we had this like moment of like,
we both like thought the, like we could

tell, we were both thinking the exact
same thing about what just happened.

And I just remember
being like, she gets it.

Like she, like I could, I knew
like we didn't say anything.

Yeah.

It's not like we were.

Like we had been friends, but we
weren't like besties by any chance.

We didn't hang out.

We didn't even date till a year later.

We didn't hang out regularly, but
like that moment I will always

remember because we just like looked
at each other and didn't even say

anything and we just both knew.

Mm-hmm.

It was like I knew exactly
what we were thinking.

Well, yeah.

Humor.

So I remember that and I just
remember like from that point on.

I was like, man, I need to date, like
I need, I want to date this girl.

So he dated somebody else.

And then, so I did date somebody else.

'cause I needed to work on
myself, myself, and then dated me.

I needed to work on myself.

We're not gonna get into college,
will we Do not need to talk

about him ever on this podcast.

Moving on.

Um, there was, oh wait.

Okay, go ahead.

No, no, go ahead.

No, I was trying to go through 'em 'cause
I was like, wait, there's something else.

This probably the, the other
thing is like the last thing Okay.

That we can do tonight and then
we're gonna get, I'm going to

eat this delicious apple pie.

Aw.

Ali makes an apple pie.

It is the greatest thing.

It is my favorite dessert of all time.

And I request requested it for
Father's Day and she made it and

it, it looks like perfection.

So I really do think it turned
out to be really good this time.

So if you had something that you
wanna talk about, let's do it.

I can't.

And then we're gonna do the other
thing and then we're gonna stop this

'cause I need to go eat that pie.

Can't think of anything.

So anything you wanna share
about the upcoming week?

Anything worth talking about other
than the fact that you have like

400 appointments and it is literally
the worst week for me to go.

You're a lot of, we've got like a dentist.

You have a dentist appointment
'cause you chipped your tooth.

I know.

Don't talk about it right now.

No, we don't have the time to go into
this, but remind us to talk about Ali.

I don't wanna remind anybody about this.

Remind us.

Nobody needs to know to talk about
Ali's tooth chipping history.

Stop is enough.

We need to talk about it anyway.

Uh, I've got a dentist has
dentist Palmer Disapp appointment.

I've got a doctor's appointment.

You've got a doctor's appointment.

Palmer's gonna go the day my mom.

You and your mom are going to like, uh,
you and your mom and Palmer are going over

to Auburn for like a little teen room?

No, it's actually here.

Oh, nice.

Okay.

We're gonna do it with like
my grandmother, sister-in-law.

Okay.

So it's here.

Yep.

But it's like a little tea thing.

Yeah.

But no, we're, I mean, today's Saturday.

I don't know if that means anything
to these people, but No, it'll be

Thursday when they're listening to it.

But, uh, Palmer turns six.

Oh, she does turn six.

And so she's, and we're
going to the mountains.

We're going to a mountain house.

You leave, I literally fly out
to San Francisco on Sunday.

Come back Thursday.

We leave Friday morning in a car.

Friday morning drive.

So I've gotta up to
north everybody packed.

Which you have been so helpful.

And have, we've gotten
the kids packed already.

This is true.

This is true.

But it's just a busy week.

We're headed to lj.

Mm-hmm.

Are we gonna be in, we're
gonna be technically lj or

are we gonna be in Blue Ridge?

Blue Ridge.

All right.

Fantastic place.

Jason Beggs lives close to there.

Okay.

He's a great guy.

Anyway, thumbs up.

Last one and then I think that's it.

I think that's all you got going on.

All you have going on, that's so much
and I'm not here to help with any of it.

It's all good.

We'll be great.

Uh, okay.

The last thing, Ali, I'm gonna,
let me tell you there, if there's

one thing that I absolutely crush
it is knowing Ali in like what she

likes, like the back of my hand.

There are these, I don't know if any
of y'all have seen them or your wife,

I'm sure they have your wife or spouse
or whatever has sent them to you.

Where it's like the, which
one, which one of these would

your, like your wife choose?

Or like, you don't your, if you know
your wife, you can tell which one she's

gonna pick, which, or blah, blah, blah.

It's like a kitchen.

Would she choose like a kitchen or a
meal or like, uh, like sweet treat?

Which house style, which dessert?

Like all these things and it like
lists them off and you have to,

like, Ali always sends them to me
and is like, which one would I do?

Yeah, I have not missed one yet.

I am batting a thousand.

Literally, you literally never missed.

I literally never miss, right?

While I was setting the podcast up, Ali
sends one to me and I open it and see that

it's one of those, and I stop watching it.

I have not seen it.

I do not know what the options
are, but live on the show.

I'm gonna put it all on the line.

I've never gotten one wrong.

You've never gotten one wrong.

And I am not gonna make this.

I'm, I'm not gonna get this wrong either,
and I am putting a point on the line.

If I miss this one, not only will
there be shame upon me and my marriage,

there will also be another point.

Okay?

Add to the board.

Against me.

That's, that's some confidence.

That's some overwhelming confidence.

It's my strong suit.

Full send.

Full send.

So the way this is gonna work, okay,
I'm gonna watch it on Ali's phone

and I'm gonna bloop it up here.

Do you know how to do that?

I don't know.

I'm gonna figure it out.

So we're gonna try out
with all the time you have.

We're gonna try to bloop it up.

I mean, I'll be in like an
airport for like a long time.

I hope so.

I should be able to figure it out.

And if not, I'll figure it out
in like a hotel or something.

I'm pretty sure you can download people's
videos, um, from social media platforms.

So you send it to me in an Instagram.

I did.

I sure did.

Sorry, I just touched, I'm gonna
pull it up and I'm gonna look at it

and I'm going to try to play it live
here while I'm looking through it.

Okay.

And I am going to figure out which one it
is live on the show at this exact moment.

Okay.

There you go.

Sir. If I lose shame on me and a point,
you know, there's nothing against me

being like, just getting it wrong.

You won't do that.

You have character.

All right.

If you think you know her.

Oh, one sec. Ah, I need to restart it.

Oh no, it's going too fast.

I know.

Alright.

Oh, oh.

Easy answer already.

Got it.

Oh man.

This one was easy.

No.

Oh, oh no.

Okay.

If you know, okay, this says
if you think you know her.

Which kitchen is she picking?

I'm watching again.

Alright.

Dark kitchen.

No white kitchen.

Also no tacky tile who
nobody likes to count.

This one is probably the one is high.

Cont tender, absolutely
not great for vacation.

Nobody wants a mountain house.

Then it threw this one
in and I was not sure.

The one at the end.

I the one at the end, there's always
one where it's like, ah, it might be

this one, but anytime I say it might
be, this one is definitely the green

one, not the white one at the end.

All right, you're gonna
look through it again.

Okay.

Just so you can see.

And tell me.

It's the one with all like the
greens and the, the hood vent

with like the little wood accent.

And then there's like a
kind of classic white one.

There are in numbers in the top corner.

So do you want to like
lock in your number?

See, I don't, uh, I don't
know which one it is.

You tell me which number
The green kitchen is.

Okay.

That's the one.

The one at the end.

Classy Kitchen is also high on the
list, but I think you would pick

Green Kitchen Over Classy Kitchen.

Are you locking in number three?

I am in fact locking in number three
versus Classy Kitchen at the end.

Is this your final answer?

Play the last one again one more time.

I don't, I'm feeling now I'm
second guessing myself 'cause

I got everything on the line.

Ooh, pause that.

Ooh, ooh.

You shouldn't have the window light like
you love a window in front of a sink.

The other one, you can't tell if there's
a window in front of the sink or not.

That one's like trash.

No.

Like who wants a stainless sink?

All right, keep going.

That one's obvious.

Like that one's definitely the one.

I'm almost 100% positive.

You are gonna have to pick one.

This is painful at this point.

Okay, final answer.

The green kitchen easy.

Oh, don't tell me.

Did I get it wrong?

No, you got it right.

Okay.

You had me worried there for a second.

I was like, no, I did not.

I always get this right.

You're correct, man.

We're gonna keep doing these on
the show because I guarantee I'll

probably miss one at some point now.

But what's funny is like
I always get them wrong.

Like if in reverse, I'm like,
which one would you pick Will?

Well, here's the problem is
that I am like, I'm eclectic.

Yeah, but like not, are you like I
just change what I like all the time.

Yeah.

And it's not be like, there's a
difference between like, okay,

here's what I would actually put
into my house versus like mm-hmm.

Something that I visually like more.

Like I look at something, I'm like,
Ooh, I really like that for like

these reasons now I wouldn't do it
in my house, but I do like this more.

Yeah.

But it doesn't make sense putting
something like that in your house.

Green kitchen though, man,
we could do that right now.

I know.

We need to paint our cabinets.

We do.

We do need to paint our cabinets.

We do.

Okay.

We'll see if we get that done this summer.

We'll see.

Anyway, we have apple pie to go eat.

We have apple pie to go eat and to
watch an episode of the Better Sister.

We are going to try and do that at 9 21.

Oh my word.

I need to be asleep.

I normally sleep for like
an hour at this point.

Oh, goodness gracious.

This, but we do this for y'all
'cause we care about you.

Oh, psych 11 of you.

No, we do this for ourself also.

Ali had a great, I'm, I'm not done yet.

I do wanna say this one thing.

Dear heaven you had, I just
wanna give you a shout out.

This is the last thing and
then we're gonna close it up.

Oh my.

You have the greatest idea the other
day and you said, Hey, I think we should

do this and not share it with everyone.

Yeah.

Which I agree.

Y'all don't need this to see this.

But Ali's like, Hey, I think Palmer would
think it was so neat, and I think we would

really love having it as if once or twice
a year, since we have this once a year.

Once a year, yeah.

Is what you want.

Okay.

Since we have this set up
that we just interview Palmer.

Mm-hmm.

Like we set her, like she could sit in
your lap or sit in that chair with you.

Yeah.

And we could just like ask her questions.

Yeah.

And film it just like this.

I think she would think that
was just the neatest thing ever.

Absolutely.

You were absolutely right.

That was such a great idea.

And then we can ask her like the
same questions and every year

just see how her answers change.

Mm-hmm.

And how she gets bigger and grows.

And I don't do that.

I'm gonna cry.

That's because her birthday's next week
idea and I just, she's turning six.

She's gonna be so big.

Can't So I think we should do that.

I'm gonna leave all this stuff up
'cause I think maybe we could try

to sneak it in during nap time.

Tomorrow might be a good time
to do it before I go outta town.

That feels like one of those
things you're rushing into, but.

That that tracks, but like
at least you get it done.

I mean there's no, otherwise we have to
wait like two weeks and she'll be six.

This will be like the one
right before she turns six.

We'll see.

We shall see.

But that's all for tonight.

See ya.
